At metgal art + advisory, we see ourselves as an extension of your team.
We're here to explore ideas with you, guide selections, coordinate the details, and bring your artwork program to life through a thoughtful, collaborative process.
As a fee-free advisory, 100% of your artwork budget goes toward artwork, with no consulting fees or markups. Our project commitment deposit supports that same approach while helping us reserve time for your projet and keep the creative process moving.

02 — THE DEPOSIT◌
A deposit toward
your artwork.
Our 15% project commitment deposit goes fully toward your artwork budget. It is part of your existing artwork investment, with no additional consulting fee.
Initial proposals and preliminary budgeting remain complimentary, giving us an opportunity to understand your goals and explore the possibilities together.
✳Keep it transparent: the proposal should show the amount, what it covers, and any applicable conditions.
03 — TIMING◷
When is the
deposit due?
The deposit is due once our proposal, budget direction, or the majority of first-round artwork selections is approved.
It is calculated from the current estimated artwork budget and supports continued planning, curation, and coordination as we develop your artwork program together.
✳Timing should be easy to find in the proposal, invoice, and project kickoff communication.
04 — PRODUCTION◍
How does it apply
to production?
The full commitment deposit counts toward your standard 50% production deposit.
When your selections are finalized and ready for production, we'll invoice the remaining amount needed to reach 50% of the approved budget.
✳Separate line items and written approvals help everyone understand what has been committed and what remains.
05 — CHANGES↺
What if
plans change?
We understand that projects evolve, and we're here to work through adjustments with you.
The commitment deposit is nonrefundable if the project does not move forward, recognizing the time and resources dedicated to its planning and development.
✳Before committing to a change, pause, document the new direction, and confirm any cost or timeline impact in writing.
